Science Curriculum Books

Funds Raised:
$830 / $830

The ministry of Education in Uganda has revised and will soon print school science books with lessons that relate to COVID-19. Using these books as a guide, teachers will cover COVID symptoms, how it is spread, how to prevent it, and how it has affected the world.

This project provides these revised science curriculum books for the schools.  The books will be laminated to help preserve them.

Teachers laminating new curriculum books

Most teachers at these schools do not have access to teacher curriculum books at their schools. Instead, they must find books elsewhere and have them photocopied. Photocopying is expensive and leads to reduced teacher pay. These books will be kept secure in a cupboard at each school where teachers can directly access them and check them out to bring home.
